MATIA throws are thicker than the usual Turkish towels, making them perfect to use as a small blanket, a throw, or a bulky scarf or shawl.

They are not completely flat-woven like our Turkish towels, these are great as a throw or scarf.

You could certiainly use MATIA as a towel, it's just that it wouldn't dry as fast.

What it's made of
MATIA Blanket Scarves are 100% cotton. Naturally hypoallergenic and vegan.

How it's made
Our towels are loomed in Turkey, in Derya's hometown close to Izmir, by local artisans that follow the authentic traditional technique.

Fringes are tied by hand one by one. The dyes we use for our threads are all OEKO-TEX certified for chemical safety.

The size
MATIA throws measure 76"x37" excluding the fringe.

Care
Machine wash warm or cold with similar colors. We recommend not using fabric softener in your wash. Fabric softener smells great but actually coats the fibers making them less absorbent. No bleach and try not to mix the wash with items that have zippers or hooks as they might get tangled in the fringes.
